Fitness Fuel: Good Eats For Mother’s Day
Make this for mom and show her you care! This twist on an old French favorite increases the antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and fiber. It’ll start both your day off right.
Ingredients:
2 ounces low-fat cottage cheese, drained
¼ teaspoon…
So, I tried the 30 DS and did something to my knee. Again. A couple weeks ago I was tackled by a friend and severely sprained it before I went to Paris. Now, after a pop and a painful fall, I’ve done something else to it. I’m not sure what… Instead I’m laying here waiting for my Dad to get home.
Damn. That hurt.
Sorry you got hurt! I have trouble with 30DS, too. First my shoulder, now the back of my thigh. Feel better!
Okay, some progress photos for now.
They aren’t huge progress by any means, but I can see a little difference.
My arms don’t look so “saggy” underneath, and they’re starting to look more toned, same with my shoulders.
Then the other one, this is a lot less of a difference, but I don’t know. Maybe there’s a little progress there?
I can definitely see a difference. Good work!
I have another one, but it sort of just got over crowded and jumbled and less personal since I only really knew a few of my followers. I wanted a fresh start to help me get back in the weight loss mindset, so this is it.
I’ve been bouncing back and forth between 155 and 165 pounds over the last few months, and it’s breaking my heart because I just can’t seem to quit snacking. It also doesn’t help that I just crave sodium loaded food, like, all the time. Right now, I’m snacking on a healthy nut mix, and it’s doing the trick. I have a bottle of water right next to me to prevent from drinking any coffee (which means milk and sugar).
Though, my biceps are more defined than they’ve ever been, and, if I want to keep it that way, I definitely need to keep working out, even though I don’t want to do much of anything these days! The past few weeks have been very slow and sluggish for me. Like I’m in a fog and anytime I have to do something productive, the haze gets thicker. I really need to get back into the habit of working out. I felt great when I worked out. Now? Just a blob on the floor.
I’ve eaten pretty healthy today to get myself back into the habit of a healthy life. Oatmeal, yogurt, and an apple for breakfast. An iceberg lettuce and fresh spinach salad with chicken, cheese, carrots, and a tablespoon of Ranch dressing. Now the nuts. Dinner is going to be tricky. I haven’t taken anything out of the freezer yet and it’s almost 3:30 PM. GRR!
I guess I’ll go and do some exercise now. Even if it’s just some crunches and squats.
